Privacy Policy

Effective September 30, 2026

This policy explains how Sudify ("Sudify", "we", "us") handles information when you use our websites, including sudify.com, and our web, desktop and mobile apps (together, the "Services"). By using the Services you agree to this policy.

The short version

  • Most of our tools process your files on your own device. Your files are not uploaded to us.
  • We don't sell your information, and we don't show ads or use advertising trackers.
  • We keep the minimum technical data needed to run the Services and stop abuse, and delete it when it's no longer needed.

Information we collect

Files and content you work with

Tools that edit, convert or compress files (such as the PDF Editor, Audio Converter and Image Compressor) run entirely in your browser or on your device. The files you open, and the results, stay on your device and are not sent to our servers.

Some features need a server to work. For example, when you use the YouTube Downloader, the link you paste is sent to our server, which fetches the video, sends the file to you and then deletes it. We do not keep copies of the files.

Accounts

Most of our Services do not require an account. If an app lets you sign in (for example with Google or Apple) to sync or back up your data, we receive your name, email address and account identifier from that provider and store the content you choose to save, so we can provide that feature. You can delete your account and its data at any time by contacting us.

Technical and usage information

Like most online services, our servers and hosting providers automatically receive technical information when you use the Services, such as your IP address, browser or device type, operating system, pages or features requested, and the date and time. We use it to deliver the Services, keep them secure and diagnose problems.

Abuse prevention

Some features are protected against automated abuse. We use Google reCAPTCHA, which collects hardware and software information (such as device and application data) and sends it to Google for analysis. Use of reCAPTCHA is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. To enforce fair-use limits, we store a one-way hash of your IP address together with a request count. These records are deleted automatically within two days.

Mobile apps

Our mobile apps ask for device permissions (such as camera, photos, microphone, files or notifications) only when a feature needs them, and use them only for that feature. You can change permissions at any time in your device settings. If you have opted in to share diagnostics with developers through your device, Apple or Google may provide us with crash reports and basic usage statistics that do not identify you.

Payments

If you buy anything from us, the payment is handled by the app store or payment provider (such as Apple, Google or Stripe). We receive confirmation of the purchase but never your full card details.

Cookies and local storage

We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our apps may save your preferences and recent work in your browser's or device's local storage so they are there next time. This data stays on your device, and you can clear it at any time. Third-party services we use, such as Google reCAPTCHA, may set their own cookies.

How we use information

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

How information is shared

We share information only with service providers that help us run the Services, and only as needed for them to do so. These include Google Cloud and Firebase (hosting and servers), Google reCAPTCHA (abuse prevention) and Google Fonts (fonts loaded by some pages). We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our users or others, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy will continue to apply.

How long we keep information

Files processed by our servers are deleted as soon as they are delivered. Abuse-prevention records are deleted within two days. Server logs are kept for a limited time by our hosting providers. Account data is kept until you delete your account.

Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and follow reasonable practices to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, including under laws such as the GDPR (EU and UK), PIPEDA (Canada) and the CCPA (California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where local law requires), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

International transfers

We and our service providers may process information in Canada, the United States and other countries, which may have different data protection laws from where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date above, and for significant changes we will provide a more prominent notice.
